Widely used in intimate care products for its excellent tolerance and protective properties, alpha glucan oligosaccharide is a natural prebiotic derived from plant sugars, recognized for its beneficial properties on skin and scalp. It is obtained from an enzymatic synthesis of natural sugars (sucrose and maltrose).

It is known to stimulate and protect the skin’s healthy bacterial flora by promoting the same antimicrobial peptide secreted by skin cells. In our intimate gel, it acts as a prebiotic (a fibre that encourages the growth of good bacteria) in synergy with the probiotics in Lactobacillus.

In our hair powder, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide acts as a scalp protector. It balances the scalp microbiome, reducing itching and irritation, while promoting a healthy environment for hair growth. Its moisturizing and soothing properties also help keep hair soft and shiny.
