QUESTIONS ?

WE HAVE THE ANSWERS

How old can you get hot flashes?

Hot flashes most often appear during perimenopause and menopause, usually between the ages of 45 and 55.
They can last a few months to several years after your periods stop.

What causes hot flashes?

They are mainly caused by decrease in estrogen.
This hormonal change disrupts the temperature regulation center in the brain, triggering a sudden feeling of heat, flushing, and sometimes sweating.

When do hot flashes stop?

In the majority of women, they gradually decrease after menopause.

On average, they last between 2 and 5 years, but some may experience them longer.

What disease causes hot flashes?

Hot flashes are most often linked to menopause.
More rarely, they can be associated with:
• Hormonal disorders (thyroid)
• Certain infections
• Side effects of medication
In the event of unusual or intense symptoms, medical advice is recommended.

Hot flushes related to menopause

Among the symptoms of menopause, hot flushes are among the most common. They can become particularly uncomfortable for more than 20% of women. Whether during perimenopause symptoms or post-menopause, more than one in two women is affected. But how do these hot flushes actually manifest in the body?

They can occur in different ways, the most common being:

  • A sudden, intense feeling of heat
  • Excessive sweating, particularly on the face, neck or upper back
  • Episodes of heavy sweating and night sweats
  • In some cases, palpitations or arrhythmia when the flushes are very intense

Hot flushes and night sweats are part of vasomotor symptoms. Their intensity may be associated with a higher cardiovascular risk, which is why it is important to monitor them and adopt a suitable lifestyle to reduce their frequency and intensity.

What can you take to relieve hot flushes?

Dietary supplements

Dietary supplements can be true allies for improving your overall comfort. Specially formulated to accompany hormonal fluctuations, they help ease hot flushes during key periods such as perimenopause or menopause.

They come in different forms (capsules, tablets, drinkable solutions) and aim to support hormonal and nervous balance, while reducing the intensity of these discomforts.

Discover our tips and natural solutions to reduce hot flushes

Many women experience hot flushes and night sweats during sleep, in the years before or after menopause.

To help the body restore better emotional and physical balance during times of hormonal upheaval (perimenopause and menopause), we have designed natural dietary supplements for menopause based on adaptogenic plants and vitamins with recognised benefits (ashwagandha, rhodiola, lemon balm, rosemary, griffonia, magnesium, vitamin D).

All our formulas are free from contraindicated phytohormones, with minimal contraindications, and complemented by certified organic, very gentle skincare products, free from suspected endocrine disruptors, tested under medical supervision. We have also developed a refreshing and soothing SOS mist, ideal for sudden hot flushes.

Our natural and vegan products cover the most frequently experienced symptoms in perimenopause and menopause, to help you restore better emotional and physical balance.

Certain daily habits can also help limit hot flushes:

  1. Engaging in regular physical activity
  2. Adopting a balanced and appropriate diet
  3. Maintaining good hydration to help the body regulate its temperature
  4. Reducing or stopping stimulants such as nicotine

Applied on a daily basis, these tips help make this period more manageable and gradually reduce the intensity of hot flushes.

At MiYé, we address these concerns through an expert selection of natural products for menopause , designed to respect female hormonal balance.
