Our patented Swiss-knife oat extract is recognised for its moisturising, soothing, anti-acne activity, its role in protecting the skin barrier but also in reactivating the skin's regeneration mechanisms (ceramide levels...).

Oats, whose scientific name is Avena Sativa, is a plant native to Asia. It has been known for thousands of years and is renowned for its moisturising properties.

Oats are mainly composed of saponin, phenols, amido and beta glucans. Saponin is a substance that keeps the skin moisturised while protecting it. Phenols help prevent skin ageing by absorbing UV rays. Finally, starch and beta glucans are moisturising agents that keep the skin hydrated by retaining water.
