GLYCERIN

La glycérine, également appelée glycérine végétale lorsqu’elle est d’origine naturelle, est un composé organique de la famille des alcools, largement utilisé en cosmétique pour ses propriétés hydratantes et adoucissantes. La glycérine offre de nombreux bienfaits pour la peau, grâce à ses propriétés hydratantes, adoucissantes et protectrices.

Glycerine is not used as an active ingredient but is present as an excipient in several of our products for its strong moisturising power.

It is produced during a saponification reaction (a mixture of a fat and soda which produces soap and glycerine). We always choose a vegetable oil or fat such as olive or coconut oil in order to respect the environment and our bodies.

We've chosen it as a solvent in the Detox Elixir clear skin and as a humectant and emollient in our Smoothing body massage serum and Densitive hair serum, as well as in the Soft Deodorant Cream.
