La gomme xanthane est prisée pour ses nombreuses propriétés fonctionnelles, qui en font un ingrédient polyvalent et stabilisant.

Xanthan gum is obtained by fermentation of a carbohydrate (such as glucose) with the bacterium Xanthomonas campestris.

Our plant-based Xanthan gum is used as a viscosity agent which, in particular, gives the texture of our skincare products a more 'bioadhesive' feel in synergy with the other active ingredients. This texture will be able to target dry areas and stay in contact with them for longer. It can also act as a film-forming agent, forming a protective film on the skin that prevents water loss and helps maintain hydration.
