Sodium benzoate is an ORGANIC-approved preservative found naturally in certain fruits such as apples and plums. It is a highly effective antifungal preservative against bacteria and fungi. We use it in very low concentrations (> 0.5%) to guarantee optimum preservation while complying with safety standards.
