Vitanol® Bio is a patented active ingredient derived from alfalfa cultivated in organic agriculture. It works as a pro-collagen and plant-based pro-retinol: it supports fibroblast activity—the dermal cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin—to naturally relaunch the synthesis of these structural proteins. In vitro studies on human fibroblasts document a 201% increase in Type I collagen production.
It also protects your dermal matrix against degradation enzymes triggered by UV exposure (documented 63% inhibition in vitro), without the irritating effects associated with conventional retinol. [3]
